Fishy Chunky Counted Cross Stitch Kit

A simple but funky and very chunky counted cross stitch penguin with beaded snow.

Perfect for beginners or anyone looking for an evening or weekend project. This fellow is stitched in just four colours of Anchor 4ply tapestry wool on 7 count plastic canvas using cross stitch. The snow is created in white beads attached using half cross stitch.

The kit contains everything you need to complete this needlework - colour chart, full instructions with plenty of photographs and diagrams, lashings of high quality Anchor tapestry wool, Darice plastic canvas, John James tapestry needle, a few beady eyes and plenty of little white beads for the snow. You just need to add some scissors, a little time and plenty of enthusiasm.

The kit does not include the picture frame but similar box frames are available in Hobbycraft, IKEA, John Lewis and some of the larger supermarkets. Alternatively, use your finished masterpiece as an applique patch on a bag or item of clothing.
