April Birth Month Stamp - Daisy

£15.00

These designs take inspiration from the ancient tradition of giving seasonal flowers as gifts. Over time symbolism and meanings have been attached to these blooms. Today they are a personal and thoughtful way to celebrate the important milestones of life. The daisy is the birth month flower for April. Admired for their uncomplicated appearance, with simple white petals they represent innocence, purity and love. Blooming in the spring they mark the start of a new season of rebirth and renewal.

Stitched in three strands of embroidery thread on perforated paper the finished stamp is 61 × 73 stitches and measures approximately 11cm x 13cm. Once finished the needlework may be cut out using scissors and mounted on a backing or in a frame. We recommend using a glue such as ‘No More Nails’. The frame is not included but may be purchased from Hobbycraft.

The kit contains all you need to stitch your stamp: Full colour instructions and charts, 14 count perforated cross stitch paper, Anchor and DMC stranded embroidery thread, John James needle, white backing card.
