Free!! Needlepoint Swan Box

£0.00

This swan box arose from the 2024 Albion challenge to create a needlepoint ornament … and you are very welcome to use the design as an ornament. However, my eye was caught by a plain wooden box, with a frame on the lid, tucked away at the back of my local Hobbycraft store. It was crying out for a makeover and a small tester pot of emulsion paint, a little furniture wax, some tapestry wool and plastic canvas did the trick!

The sample shown was stitcher in Anchor 4ply tapestry wool but the instructions include conversions for Appletons and DMC … or simply sift through your stash, you don’t need a lot of yarn for this fellow.

Have fun and please share your creations on social media using #annsorchard I’d love to see what you make.

You will receive a secure link to the PDF pattern lasting 24hours after the first download.
