Folk Flowers on Silk

This ribbon reminds me so much of a fabric my mother used in a patchwork cushion back in the 70s. This cushion was kept in the back of the car and, when not thinking about Wombles, I would spend my journey home from kindergarden studying the different, rather bold, patches. It is available in two colourways and is relatively narrow, measuring approximately 3cm wide. This ribbon would work well as a strap, the edging to a lampshade or bag.

Due to the nature of manufacture there are very slight variations along the length of the trim which simply add to its charm.
