Pair of Staffordshire Spaniel Cushions
Sadly, the company I have used to print the fabric Staffordshire Spaniels is no longer in business so I shall not have any more of these fellows. However, I have taken the opportunity to redesign them as a ‘Cut & Stitch’ tea towel. The dogs are smaller but still perfectly formed.
Inspired by Victorian Staffordshire pottery figures, I thought it would be rather jolly to have a matching set of cushions. The designs are printed on cotton drill and you may embroider as much or as little of the design as you like before making up the cushion.
The kit comes in a cotton work bag and contains all you need to complete this mirrored pair of spaniels; printed cotton panel, plain cotton backing fabric, charcoal ric-rac edging, embroidery threads, beads, black sewing thread, embroidery and beading needles.
Full colour instructions are included, with stitching techniques, a suggested stitching guide and how to make up your cushion.
PLEASE NOTE - Stuffing is not included and you will need 250g to 300g to plump each dog up once finished.
Approximate size of each spaniel is 40cm x 25cm
